“…speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord….” Ephesians 5:19 (NKJV)

As you journey in your Christian walk, there are several things you must do to keep your faith alive and maintain spiritual steam. One of those things is listening to Spirit filled songs. Yes, you read it right. I know it sounds awkward but trust me, the songs you are listening to matters a lot. They go a long way to dry you up or stir you up. If the songs you are listening to are worldly songs, it will dry you up spiritually because of the worldly spirit that such songs carry

However, when you listen to Spirit filled songs, it stirs you up positively and keeps your faith alive. And in most cases, these songs could bring you divine intervention and crush the yokes of darkness in any area of your life. You might say but how is this possible? Well, it is very possible because demons are responsible for most of the challenges that people face. Now, when the Spirit of God is introduced through songs, the demons responsible for those problems check out and that person recovers. An exact example of this in the Bible was when Saul the king was troubled by a demonic Spirit. The Bible recorded that “…whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him…”I Samuel 16:23 (NKJV). Did you see that? That’s how powerful spirit filled songs can be. So, learn to listen to Spirit filled songs, on a regular basis. As the songs play,  join in the worship and you will create for yourself, an atmosphere of miracles. Praise God!
