Let Love Flow Through You

“…eagerly pursue and seek to acquire (this) love (make it your aim, your great quest)…”- 1 Corinthians 14:1b (AMPC)         

Beloved, do you know that you have love in abundant measure? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. The day you gave your life to Christ, your spirit was recreated by God and the Bible says, in Romans 5:5 that love was shed abroad in your heart from that day. Therefore, as a child of God, you have the love of God in you. It is in your nature now; you don’t try to get it, you already have it in you. Knowing this, you must make up your mind to let love flow through you .You must make a conscious decision to let all you do, be done in love and through love because this is who you are. Don’t struggle with it; just let it flow through you. 

When you relate with people, refuse to allow your relationship with them to be based on conditions. When you help them, don’t help because there is something you are trying to get in return for your help. No, just do it because of the love of God that is in overflowing measure in your life. Sadly, we live in a world, where nobody wants to help anyone for nothing. But the question is, does God want us to live like this? Certainly not. The God-kind of love does not function this way; it is not based on conditions. It is a gift that needs to flow through you. So eagerly pursue love in all that you do. Let your presence communicate God’s love and remember, the Bible says “owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law…” –Romans 13:8 (NKJV) Praise God!

Eternal King of glory, I thank you for the love you have shed abroad in my life through the finished works of your dear son Jesus Christ. Wherever I go, my presence shall communicate your love, and whatever I do, I will do it in love in the name of Jesus. Amen!
