We have often heard the phrase “see with the eyes of God,” which means we ought to learn to see things from His perspective. Now, the Lord is also saying we should learn to think the way He thinks. While this may sound strange to some, it is entirely possible to align our thought patterns with the Creator. In fact, doing so is the key to a life of excellence and fulfillment.
To think like God ultimately means possessing the same mindset that He has. This is the best thing that can happen to any person. When you begin to operate with the mind of God, you stop thinking like mere men and start functioning from a higher spiritual realm. In this state, you no longer judge or condemn others. Your thoughts toward people will always be thoughts of peace rather than evil.
Even when others offend you, malice does not enter your mind. The only things that surface are love and peace because you are viewing life from a divine vantage point. When you live this way, you will be amazed at how your life transforms. I encourage you to discipline yourself to think with the mind of God. Refuse to think like an ordinary person, because you are not.
You have been recreated by God in Christ Jesus and you possess the mind of Christ. You might ask how you can know the mind of God or begin to think like Him. You do this through the Word of God, because His Word reveals His mind, His heart, and His thoughts.
For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. —1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)
Discover His Word and you will discover His mind. When you dwell on the Scriptures, you will naturally begin to think the way God thinks. It is an intentional shift from the carnal to the spiritual, and it will revolutionize your walk with the Father. Praise God!

Prayer
Thank You Heavenly Father for introducing me to a higher way of living, which is having Your kind of mindset. I declare that from this day forward, the way I think experiences a divine change. I will continue to dwell in Your Word and use it to fashion my thoughts in the name of Jesus. Amen!
