And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. —Mark 16:17–18 (NKJV)
Have you been feeling any symptoms or discomfort in your body lately? If so, don’t worry—you can minister to your body and command that sickness to leave. It has no right to remain because you’ve been given authority over it in the name of Jesus. This might sound too good to be true, but it’s exactly what Jesus said in our opening text. He declared that those who believe in Him “will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Now the question is, do you believe this? If you do, then go ahead—lay your hands on your body and begin to speak to it. The problem many Christians face is not a lack of power but a lack of action. Too often, believers read these scriptures quickly without dwelling on them or putting them to work. But if you’ll take God’s Word seriously and act on it, you’ll see results.
So today, decide that your case will be different. Take time to study and meditate on the Word of God because that’s where the power and blessing lie. Then act on it. Lay your hands on that part of your body and begin to speak words of life and healing. Even if you don’t see immediate results, stay consistent. Keep declaring the Word in faith, and the change will come—because Jesus said it would, and His Word never fails.
Whenever you feel discomfort in your body, don’t panic or complain. Instead, be quick to minister to yourself with the authority you’ve received. Speak the Word boldly, and you’ll watch your body respond. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the authority You’ve given me in Christ Jesus. I thank You for the power to speak to my body and see it respond. Today, I choose to continually minister to my body, and everything contrary to Your Word in me leaves now, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
