“…Christ in you, the hope of glory…” Colossians 1:27 (NKJV

“I sincerely don’t know where to start from, I have lost all hope” “The Doctor said, there is no hope” I think it is over, there is no more hope” These and many more, you will hear some people say, when they are going through difficulties. They come to that place in life where they believe that all hope is lost. In most cases, they conclude that they can never come out of whatever they have found themselves because they haven’t understood the fact that there is hope and that hope is Christ. Beloved, sometimes life can indeed be so tough but the greater truth is that God has made a way out of that challenge and the way out is Jesus, whether you like it or not, Jesus is the way out and He is your hope of victory. The Bible expressly says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory…” Colossians 1:27 (NKJV). Meaning, that if you have Jesus in your life, you don’t need to trouble yourself or think that there is no hope because He is all you need to come out of that situation victoriously.

So, I encourage you to become conscious of this truth and make a conscious decision to face that situation from a place of understanding. Refuse to cower or break down. Refuse to allow the devil to make you believe that you are sinking, because you are not. You are a new creation and the Spirit of the Lord lives in you. You are too fortified to be defeated, you are too graced to be disgraced. No matter the pressure you may be facing, it is important to know that you are an overcomer and you will surely overcome it. John the Apostle had this understanding and he said, “…. you are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than He who is the world…”1 John 4:4 (NKJV). The forces within you are way greater than the forces that are after you, therefore, choose to keep your gaze on Jesus, because He is not just your hope of glory, He is the hope of glory. Besides Him, there is no hope anywhere else, but in Him, you have hope and you can be sure to come out of that situation with testimonies, all that is required of you is to act on His word and watch things fall into place in your favor. Halleluiah!

Today’s Rhema

The forces within you are way greater than the forces that are after you, therefore, choose to keep your gaze on Jesus!

Confession for the Day

My hope is built on you Lord and I refuse to allow anything to take that from me. No matter the odds, no matter the circumstances, I will continue to press on till the end because I know that my victory is assured and Christ is my victory in Jesus’ name. Amen!
