“…then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you” and his servant was healed that same hour…” Matthew 8:13 (NKJV)

Matthew 8:5-13 tells of a centurion who came to Jesus asking for healing for his servant who was lying at home paralyzed and dreadfully tormented. Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him”. But the centurion answered saying, “Lord I am not worthy that you should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, Go; and he goes; and to another, come; and he comes and to my servant do this and he does it.” Matthew 8:8 (NIV). When Jesus heard his words, He was impressed and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you”. And true to the words of the master, his servant was healed that same hour.

Now, something I want you to note  is that this centurion understood authority; and based on this understanding, he believed that all Jesus needed to do as one bearing spiritual authority was to speak a word, and his servant would be healed. And it happened just as he had believed. This means that what you believe, will surely be done to you.

So I ask you today, what do you believe? Do you believe in healing? Do you believe in the supernatural? Do you believe in financial miracles? Beloved what you believe will surely take place in your life. Therefore, you must be conscious of what and how you believe. If you believe for an extraordinary life that is what will become. But if you believe otherwise, don’t expect anything more.

So, as you continue in your Christian walk, don’t forget that, as you believe, it will be done unto you. Jesus Christ said something amazing to the man whose child was epileptic which I would like to leave with you today. He said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes…” Mark 9:23 (NKJV)

TODAY’S RHEMA

The man who believes can achieve anything he desires!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

All things are possible to the man who believes, therefore I declare that because I believe, all things are possible to me in positive areas of life and I am achieving great feats within the shortest possible time by the power of right believing in the name of Jesus. Amen!
