“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” — (John 15:4 NKJV)

Does your everyday lifestyle draw you closer to Jesus or take you further away from Him? This is a critical question every Christian should answer honestly, especially in these last days. We are constantly surrounded by activities and schedules that can subtly pull us away from Jesus. If we aren’t careful, we could end up professing Christianity without having a true relationship with Him.

Beloved, understand that this is not the kind of life Jesus wants for us. He doesn’t want our Christianity to be just a title or a label but a living relationship with Him, because that’s what Christianity is all about—a vibrant connection between God and man. Anyone who misses this has missed it all.

So I encourage you today to re-evaluate your life and be honest with yourself. Make a conscious decision to engage in activities and routines that draw you closer to Jesus. Don’t settle for being a Christian in name only—be a Christian whose passion for Jesus and the Kingdom overflows.

Today, it’s common to see people who need to be reminded, persuaded, or even begged to come to church, study their Bibles, or pray. But that’s not how it should be. If you find yourself in that category—where others have to pray for you and follow up to keep you involved—it’s a sign your love for God is running low. Something must be done urgently before the enemy takes advantage of you.

Make Jesus your priority, and your life will flourish in every way. You might ask, “But is this really necessary?” Yes, it absolutely is! Jesus said:

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” — (John 15:4 NKJV)

If you truly want to bear fruit, you must abide in Him. Spend every day of your life focusing on the things that concern Jesus and His Kingdom. When you do, fruitfulness and fulfilment will flow naturally in your life. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

Glorious King, I thank You for the privilege of being Your beloved son. I choose to abide in Christ now and all the days of my life. Whatever seeks to distract me is disconnected from me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
