“…do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows that he will also reap…” Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)

Having established in yesterday’s article, the importance of spending time with God as the first thing you must do to develop a winning routine, the next thing you must do is to list out some other things that you know will be helpful and beneficial for the future that you desire. For example, if you want to go into business, spend time doing research on the business and understand the rules of the business. If it is a book you want to write, spend time writing on a daily basis. If it is a job you are looking for, spend time sending your resumé daily to companies. The idea is that whatever you want to do or achieve, you have to make daily inputs to make that happen. In most cases, it could involve you doing research so that you can get better at it. Learn something new every day, that will help to mold you and pull you towards your dreams.

Now, after listing out the activities that you would like to engage in everyday, make a conscious decision to commit yourself to doing those activities because that is what will guarantee a sustained result. If you have a list of things you would like to do every day and you only do them once in a blue moon, it will not help you to reach your goal. You must be disciplined and committed enough to engage in these things daily, so that your results at the end of the day will be evident. If you would apply these few things that I have identified and your list of activities are proper, there is no telling where you would be at the end of the year. Therefore, get to work and make each day count. A day wasted is a future wasted. Take a pen and paper and draft out what your daily schedule should look like, for the next three months. If you can draft it out and engage in them, then you have successfully written your success story. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

A day wasted is a future wasted!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Father, I thank you for teaching me how to redeem the time. I declare that as I draft out daily activities for the day, I receive grace to engage in them diligently and produce results with it in the name of Jesus. Amen!
