“…So Satan answered the Lord and said, from going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it…” —Job 1:6 (NKJV)

In the opening scripture, we see how busy the devil has made himself on earth, walking through it, looking for people he might take advantage of. We see the devil as he patiently makes the children of God his prey. And we know that his agenda for his prey is always to destroy them.

Having done a good study on the circumstances that surround the problems most people find themselves in, I concluded that the devil is very committed to his work of destruction. He is a destroyer and too proud to accept defeat. He will not give up until he has destroyed his prey. If you win, he will try again. He never stops trying, and he doesn’t let go of his prey so easily.

If the devil, as wicked as he is, is persistent and committed to achieving his aim, what about you? Do you easily give up on what you want? Are you quick to accept defeat and refuse to try again? I am writing this to let you know that every Christian has the ability to make things right. The ability to make things work and produce results, even if it means trying again and again.

Beloved, don’t be quick to get tired of making things happen; don’t get tired of trying again. Your life can be better, and your mistakes can be corrected. You just need to show commitment and consistency. Don’t start something today and be ready to abandon it tomorrow because you’ve made certain mistakes. It is true that the devil is committed to destroying the things you do, but God is committed to making you into what He wants you to be. God is committed to building you up and making you a strong tower. You can adopt the mind of God by staying committed. Don’t let the devil make you weak through his constant manipulation. The grace of God has been made available to you. Therefore, stay Focused and committed to the plans God has kept in your heart, be committed to having your success story. Amen!
