Jesus on a throne in heaven with bright light behind

“…as God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be my people…” 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NKJV)

Giving God His rightful place in your life is one of the major keys to finding fulfillment and satisfaction in life. Today, you discover that there are still people in the world who have it all and are still not fulfilled in life because God’s place in their life is empty. A woman once wrote to a life coach saying, “I have achieved everything every young woman would want to achieve but I still feel empty, and unsatisfied, what more do I need to do?”  She had everything except God. There are many others out there like her who have reached a point of great wealth and comfort but are greatly depressed and unhappy because of the vacuum.

I encourage you today to take a bold step to fill that vacuum by embracing God and His righteousness. Receive Jesus let Him be the Lord of your life. He is your ticket to eternal life (John 3:16) and the mediator between God and man for it is written, “…there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all people…”1 Timothy 2:5-6 (NIV). When you accept Him into your life, He will fulfill His word that says “…come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light…” Matthew 11:28-30. All you need to do is repent of your sins and ask Him to come into your life. If you already have Jesus in your life, choose to abide in Him faithfully, for He has said, “I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me. Those who do not remain in me are thrown out like a branch and dry up…” If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish, and you shall have it…”John 15:5-7 (GNT). So, do the needful and abide in Christ faithfully.

Today’s Rhema

A life without God is a life of darkness, chaos and disorder.

Confession for the Day

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for revealing this truth to me. I thank you for making it possible to come to you through the sacrificial death of your Son. I accept all that Jesus Christ did for me through His finished work and I declare that Jesus is the Lord of my life and will continue to be, all the days of my life. Praise God!
