“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 GNT)
One of the devil’s biggest lies is convincing people that God doesn’t care about them. He wants you to feel insignificant and abandoned, as though your life doesn’t matter to God. But is this true? Is God truly distant and uncaring as the devil portrays Him? The answer is a resounding No!
Sadly, many have believed this lie. I once met a young lady who passionately declared that God didn’t care about her, blaming Him for the hardships she faced. Despite all efforts to show her otherwise, her mind was made up, and she couldn’t see the truth of God’s love and care.
Beloved, no matter what the devil wants you to believe, the Bible makes it abundantly clear that God deeply cares for you. The scripture says, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 GNT). The question is: who will you believe—the unchanging Word of God or the deceitful voice of the devil?
Your responsibility as a believer is to trust in the truth of God’s Word above all else. The Bible is not influenced by your experiences; instead, your experiences should align with the Word. If scripture says God watches over you, then it’s not a suggestion—it’s a fact. Choose to believe it and let it shape your mindset.
When you live with the consciousness of God’s care, you will begin to see your life align with His promises. Let this truth anchor your faith: God is watching over you, listening to your prayers, and ensuring that no harm befalls you. Trust in His love and rest in His protection today and always.
