“…sincerity and truth are what you require; fill my mind with your wisdom…” Psalm 51:6 ( GNT)
As you journey in your walk with Jesus, do you know that one of the things He requires from you is sincerity and truth? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. Our Lord Jesus Christ requires you to be sincere both in your dealings with Him and with your neighbors. As simple as this might sound, many believers today have fallen short of this, and this is the reason why some people today, find it difficult to do things with Christians because they feel that many are not sincere in their dealings. And to a great extent, this is true.
Today, you will find that many find it difficult to even be sincere with Jesus in their finances and commitment to Him. Many today don’t give their tithes; the ones who do just drop anything, and they feel they have given their tithe. Now, even in the area of their services towards God, they find it difficult to be sincere, and this has crept into their relationships with people out there because if they cannot be sincere with God, it will be hard for them to be sincere with men.
Beloved, if you are going to be different, you must make a conscious decision to walk in sincerity and truth with God. The Psalmist knew this secret and he said “…sincerity and truth are what you require; fill my mind with your wisdom…” Psalm 51:6 ( GNT). He understood this secret, and it marked a distinction in his walk with God. You should imbibe this secret as well and become deliberate about it. If you can work on this, it will drastically change your relationship with God and men. It will open unusual doors for you and connect you with men and women of influence. Praise God!
