“…now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Do you sometimes think that God is angry with you? Do you sometimes think that God does not want to hear your prayer? Are you running from God because you feel that you are not living a life that is pleasing in His sight? Well, I have news for you. Run no more because God has already made peace with you through Jesus Christ our Lord. I know this might sound too good to be true, but this is the truth revealed to us in the scriptures. The death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, qualified you for this wonderful privilege and believe me, there is nothing you will do today that will make God cast you out. Yes, you heard me right. There is absolutely nothing that will make God reject you, except it is you who rejects Him.
You must understand that God has already made peace with you and is stretching out His hands to you to come to Him. You might say, what! with all my mess? Oh yes, with all your mess, God still loves you that way. With your kind of lifestyle God still loves you that way, because He has made peace with you. But the question is, have you made peace with Him? This is where the problem is. Most people have not come to terms with the fact that God is not angry with them any longer. They have not come to understand that God is not willing to stay far from them. So, they keep running and going far from God and in the process endangering their lives because they are running away from the one who can preserve their lives. However, you need to know this truth today so that you can draw closer to God and not farther away from Him. As simple as this truth might sound, if you believe it and lay hold of it, your life will not remain the same. So, be encouraged today to draw closer to Him, He has made peace with you, now it is your turn to accept this beautiful gift He has made available to you through Jesus Christ and watch your relationship move from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

Father, I am grateful for making peace with me through the finished work of your son Jesus Christ. I therefore, choose this day to believe this truth and to walk in the consciousness of this truth.
