“…Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers…” 3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

As you journey in your Christian walk, it is important for you to understand that God wants you to prosper and be in good health. John the apostle reiterated this truth when he said “…beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers…”III John 1:2 (NKJV). Now, you have a responsibility to believe this truth and walk in the light of it. You have a responsibility to cooperate with God and do your part in making sure you are in good health. Remember, God the Father, has already sent His son Jesus, to pay the ultimate price for you. Now it is your responsibility to give adequate care to your body.

Sadly, that is not the case today. Too many of God’s people are not giving attention to their health or body. Many overuse their body and stretch it beyond limits all in the name of work. Some others Indulge in all kinds of habits that slowly destroy their health and when they fall sick, they begin to call on God which shouldn’t be the case. There are many who have brought serious harm to themselves because they would not give adequate care to their body.

So to avoid such things, it is important that you make your health a priority. Equip yourself with little  health related knowledge so that you can know what to do and eat and what not to do and eat. From time to time, give your body the required sleep and rest. Eat the right food and pay attention to what your body is saying to you because sometimes, some of the signs we feel in our body here and there, is the body saying I need some rest and attention. If you would do these things and keep declaring God’s word over your life, you can be sure to dwell in divine health all the days of your life. Remember, the reason you need to take this seriously is because the spirit needs the body as much as the body needs the spirit. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

God wants you to prosper and be in good health, so give your body the adequate care!
