“…However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you…” John 16:13-14 (NKJV)
As you journey in your walk with God, one thing you must make a conscious decision to do is give the Holy Spirit a chance to help you in your life. To do this, you have to acknowledge His presence and ministry in your life.
The challenge many of God’s people face today in their lives is that they are not conscious of the presence and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They don’t even know that the Holy Spirit was given to us to help us scale through the difficulties and the challenges of this life. So, they go on in life facing all manner of difficulties. Some people have even come to a breaking point where they are no longer willing to carry on because of what they are facing. The question is, is this the way God wants us to live our lives? The answer is No. God knew that life sometimes can be very complicated and difficult. He knew that to scale through these complications and difficulties, you need divine assistance. It is, for this reason, He had to send the Holy Spirit to be our helper. But if you continue to ignore and neglect this help that God has made available, there is absolutely nothing that God can do for you.
Therefore, it is important that you begin today to acknowledge the presence and role of the Holy Spirit in your life so that you can invite him to those situations. When you begin to do this, you will discover how challenges will begin to give way for you to break forward. So, understand this truth and give the Holy Spirit a chance in your life. Remember it is “..not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit…”Says the Lord of hosts…” Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)
