“…Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you…”Luke 6:38 (GNT)

As simple as the topic of our discussion might sound, it holds the key to experiencing favour with God and with men. It holds the key to the frequent flow of resources in your hands. The question is do you believe this?

In our opening text, the Bible says  “…Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands—all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you…”Luke 6:38 (GNT). Did you see that? It is one major truth about walking in consistent supply but sadly many of God’s people neglect the power of this scripture. Infact when the realities of this scripture is being spoken about, some people get very uncomfortable but as a believer you must never get uncomfortable with the truth, no matter how it bites.

So, as you journey in your Christian walk, take this truth seriously. Engage in it from time to time. The Bible told us about the prodigal son and how he took his share of his father’s wealth and went to a far country. He spent all he had on reckless living and there were no accounts that he gave to anybody. When his money was over, the Bible says he began to be in want ( Scripture Reference: Luke 15:11-23) why? You might ask, because when he had, he gave to no one. Beloved, it pays to give out when you have. What guarantees that you will receive from anyone when you need it the most, is what you gave to others when they need it the most. Your needs can only be met when you meet the needs of others. So, take it seriously and make giving to God and to men a lifestyle.

Today’s Rhema

What guarantees that you will receive from anyone when you need it the most, is what you gave to others when they need it the most.

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this enlightenment today. I choose this day to make giving to others a lifestyle. Therefore, I receive in my life the grace to be a reckless giver in the name of Jesus. Amen!
