Dictionary definition of reconciliation

…now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…” 2 Corinthians 5:18 ( NKJV)

Beloved, do you know that after you receive Jesus into your life, you have a responsibility to bring others to Him as well? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. When you received Jesus into your life, you also received a ministry called the ministry of reconciliation. This is the ministry of reconciling others back to God. The Bible says “…now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…” 2 Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV). Did you see that? God gave us this ministry because this is the system He has created to extend the blessings of salvation to others.

Unfortunately, many believers do not want to take this ministry seriously. They receive Jesus into their lives and keep quiet about it. They do not give anyone the opportunity to hear this good news and this is why you see many believers today, who have been Christians for many years and have never led anyone to Christ.

Is this how God wants us to live our lives as believers? Certainly not. God’s greatest desire is for men to be saved from eternal damnation but if that will happen, you must choose to reach out to others with the word of reconciliation. So, wait no further. Make a conscious decision to make it a lifetime duty to bring others to Jesus. This is not about converting anyone as many would love to think. Rather, it is about bringing people the gift of salvation, so that their eternal destination can be secured. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ is the one who made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.  The Bible says “…‭there  is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time…” 1 Timothy 2:5-6 ( NKJV) Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

The gift of salvation which you have received should be a blessing to others!

Confession for the Day

I choose this day to become a blessing to others by educating them about the sacrifice of Jesus for them and as I do this, many are coming to the knowledge of the truth in Jesus name
