“I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising him. I will praise him for what he has done” Psalm 34:1-2 (GNT)

In today’s world, many of God’s people tend to downplay the miracles He performs in their lives and in the lives of others. When testifying about what God has done, they make it sound like a small thing. If, for example, they were delivered from an accident that could have taken their lives, they do not attach any significant importance to such deliverance. So, they end up watering down their account of what God did for them. But is this how God wants us to live? Certainly not.

One of the secrets to experiencing a continual flow of the miraculous in your life is learning to magnify the things that God is doing in your life. When you magnify them, you set yourself up for more of such wonderful miracles. But if you downplay them, you shut the doors that could have brought more miracles into your life.

Beloved, never get used to the things God is doing in your life and in the lives of others. Every time God does something for you, learn to celebrate it and make it loud. That headache that God healed you from has claimed the lives of many others; that accident that God saved you from ended the life of another. What you call little has caused great harm to many, so stop downplaying the work of God in your life. Instead, magnify it, celebrate it, and share it with others, so that in your testimony, they may find strength and believe God for the miraculous in their own lives.

So, I encourage you today to take this seriously and begin to magnify everything God is doing in your life. Never call anything small. Be like the Psalmist who said, “I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising him. I will praise him for what he has done…” (Psalm 34:1-2, GNT).
