Do Not Be Moved by the Rejection of Men

“See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” —Jeremiah 1:10 (NKJV)

Have you ever been in a situation that made you question why people keep rejecting you? You and your friends apply for a job, and they get selected while you are left out. You show up at a place where something free is being given away, and by the time it gets to your turn, it is already over. Or the office starts laying off staff, and after all your confidence, your name is the first on the list. Then you begin to wonder, Why is it always me? Why do I always seem to be the one left behind? Do not despair.

Beloved, you must come to a place where you place value on yourself and begin to see yourself through the eyes of Christ. The Bible declares, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” —1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV). This is God’s word concerning you. You are His special possession, chosen by Him.

So when men reject you or refuse to work with you, do not let that rejection become the final word over your life. Men may not recognize the gift God has placed in you, but that does not make the gift any less real. Do not allow man’s rejection to shape your identity or determine your value. Stay in the Word of God, apply what it says, and you will begin to walk into the people and opportunities God has prepared for your gifts. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

You are special to God. Do not let the opinion of man fool you.

Prayer

Thank You, Holy Father, for choosing me and making me special. I declare that I will not allow the opinions of men to bring me down. I choose to see myself the way You see me. Amen!
