“…For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death…” Romans 8:2 (NKJV)
One of the greatest victories that our Lord Jesus Christ brought to us through His death, burial, and resurrection is that He stripped death of its legal claims over your life. I know that this may sound too good to be true but this is the truth. Let me explain before our Lord Jesus Christ came, the Bible recorded that through one man which is Adam, sin entered into the world and death reigned through sin (Romans 5:16). Now, everyone where under the influence and dominion of death. Everyone was under the manipulation and control of death. Everyone became captives of death and this continued freely for years. But our God in His infinite mercy already had the plan to redeem mankind from the bondage of death by sending His only begotten Son.
Our Lord Jesus Christ came and paid the ultimate price for you and me. And when He did, the Bible recorded that He was raised back to life after three days. He broke the power of death and declared to John the Apostle saying, “…I am the first and the last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and Death…” Revelations 1:17 (NKJV). Today, a new law has been set in motion which is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and because you are in Christ Jesus, this law has set you free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). Therefore, rejoice and be glad in what our Lord Jesus Christ has done. Every morning when you wake up, go ahead and declare that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death. Declare that death no longer has dominion over you in the name of Jesus. When you live in the consciousness of this truth and declare them consistently over your life and situation, you will be amazed at how much liberty you will enjoy in your life. So, I admonish you today to take this truth seriously and always remember that death has lost its legal claims over your life. Praise God!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
Father, I am grateful for this glorious truth. I choose this day to walk in the reality of this truth now and all the days of my life. Fear is gone from me and faith is stirred up in me. I am walking in the path of life and therefore, I refuse and reject any claims of death over any area of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
