Cultivate a Life of Worship (1)

“…but the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth; for the father is seeking such to worship Him…” John 4:23

Do you want to encounter God like never before? Do you want to experience the supernatural everyday of your life? Well, it is possible if you would cultivate a life of worship. There are many people who think that a walk with God is all about words, or attending church. But there is more. A Walk with God is beyond that. You have to understand that beyond attending church every week, your relationship with God is of utmost importance. It’s important to know that God is looking for true worshipers—people who are connected to God at all times in spirit and in truth regardless of where they are. Jesus said to the woman at the well, “the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth; for the father is seeking such to worship Him…” 

Now, if the Father is seeking for those who will worship Him the way He wants, then you must choose to develop a life of worship which can only happen through dedication, commitment and determination. A life of worship is a life that is dedicated to God and His word. It is a life abandoned to God as you give Him your all. It is a life of commitment to all that God has instructed us to do. 

Therefore, as you journey with God this year, make it a point of duty to cultivate a life of worship. When you do, you will watch the miraculous become the order of the day in your life. The devil at different points will try to discourage you by bringing distractions your way, but I encourage you to not give in to such distractions because they will add no value to your life. Instead, cling to God and delight yourself in Him, and He will bring you such reward that you never imagined was possible. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this insightful teaching. I declare today that the hunger to cultivate a life of worship is activated in me and as I worship, I am walking in the fullness of Your blessings in Jesus’ name. Amen!
