“For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” – Galatians 6:8 (NKJV)

In the previous article, we discussed the importance of creating and investing time in spiritual matters. Now, let’s go deeper and explore how engaging in these activities brings about an unusual transformation in your life. Why? Because such activities glorify God and give the Holy Spirit room to move powerfully in you, shaping you into the person God intends you to be.

So, be encouraged to spend time studying the Bible and meditating on it. Make yourself available for prayer meetings in church and actively participate in all the gatherings that your local church offers. Also, give attention to prayer and fasting in your personal life. These practices will help you realize your true destiny and fulfill your purpose in Christ Jesus. When you invest your time like this, you position yourself for success, growth, and divine favor. You’ll find that it becomes impossible to fail or struggle unnecessarily because you’re dedicating yourself to matters that bring life and build up your spirit.

On the contrary, if you spend your time watching television, scrolling through Instagram or Facebook, and engaging in worldly activities like gossip or partying, it will only bring frustration and struggles over time. These habits draw you away from God and promote a selfish way of living, which eventually leads to spiritual emptiness. Therefore, make a conscious decision to use your time wisely. Spend your off days and free moments doing things that honor God and advance your spiritual growth. In essence, avoid activities that make you ignore God, and instead, prioritize those that exalt Him in your life. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Do not spend time on things that make you ignore God; rather, spend time on things that exalt Him.

Confession for the Day

Glorious Father, I thank You for enlightening me with Your Word and illuminating my understanding. Henceforth, I will no longer spend my time on frivolities because I am a person of the Spirit, not of the flesh. My time will be spent on things that bring glory to You, advance Your Kingdom, and propel me forward in life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
