Change Your Mode of Operation

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)

One of the secrets to consistent and increasing results in life is changing the way you operate on a regular basis. As a Christian, God does not want you to stick to your old ways of doing things because, in the long run, you won’t see any reasonable change. Whatever you do in your life, you must learn to upgrade and adjust your ways of doing things. Everything from your character to your attitude to even the way you pray must be worked on if you want to see a huge difference in your life. Don’t get stuck in a rut, repeating the same thing over and over again. The things you want to do for the Kingdom of God must be done differently every time. And even in coordinating your personal affairs, try to do things with a different approach because this is a guarantee of experiencing a huge difference in the long run. Even God, while admonishing his people, said, “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV) Letting us know how God does his things. He changes his operations from time to time. You can imagine him saying, “I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert,” which does not usually happen, but yes, that is what God was willing to do to effect a change. In the same way, you should learn to change the way you do things if you want to see a different result. I do not know the things you intend to achieve this year; maybe there are some specific results you want to see in your family, your marriage, your academics, or even in your job. All you need to do is change the way you have been doing things in the past and come up with new strategies and skills. If you adjust your routine positively, you will impact your future positively too. Remember, the truth remains that the old ways of doing things will always produce the regular results you have always seen, but the new ways will certainly produce new results. So, get to work and identify the areas where you need to change the way you do things and effect those changes. It doesn’t matter how small the changes might be; they could produce an uncommon result for you. Praise God!

Confession for the Day

Glorious God, I thank you for enlightening me on the secret to seeing better results and achievements in my life. I choose this day to do things differently, and I declare that I will not only change the way I do things, but I will commit myself to a new mode of operation in the name of Jesus. Amen!
