When we take a look at our world today, you discover that words are the building blocks of everything. The world literally runs on words. Why? Because the whole world was created by God’s Word. The Bible says, “…..by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible…..”Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV). Did you see that? This lets us know that the world you see today was framed by words.
The significance of this is that the realities of your life completely depend on the quality of words that you build with. If you build with the words of men (mere philosophies) you will miss the mark. But if you will build with God’s word, you will certainly not remain the same. Your experience in life will be a glorious one and no matter the odds you face, you will surely win because you are building with tested and trusted material (God’s word).
Therefore, as you journey this year, I urge you to build your life with God’s Word. Locate the Word that concerns you and your situation. Believe it, hold on to it and work it out in your life. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “…therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall…..” Matthew 7:24-27 (NKJV)

If you build with the word of God, you will surely have a glorious life, but when you build with the words of men, you will end up with disappointments!
