In union with Christ and through our faith in him we have the boldness to go into God’s presence with all confidence. —Ephesians 3:12 (GNT)

One reason many people hesitate to pray is the belief that God will not answer them. Others feel they lack the spiritual standing required for God to listen to their requests. Consequently, you often find individuals moving from one prayer house to another, searching for someone to intercede on their behalf. When they fail to see immediate results, they frequently conclude that the Christian walk simply does not work.

If you have ever felt this way, there is good news for you. God is not only willing to answer your prayers, but He has also issued a standing invitation for us to come boldly to the throne of grace. This invitation exists so that we might obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need —Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV). He desires to answer your petitions and grant you the desires of your heart.

Unfortunately, many see these promises in the Scriptures but doubt their effectiveness. However, God’s Word is true, and you are encouraged to take full advantage of His invitation. A common mistake is trying to use personal experiences to interpret the Word, rather than letting the Word interpret experience. God’s Word is the final authority. Regardless of what your past experiences may suggest, the Word remains true and will produce results when put to work wholeheartedly.

As you continue your faith walk, maintain the assurance that God is ready and willing to respond to you. The key is your willingness to pray, and specifically, to pray in faith. When you approach the Father with confidence in His promises, you unlock the doors to divine intervention in your life.

God is willing to answer your prayers, if you are willing to pray in faith!

Prayer

Father, I am grateful for this eye-opening truth. I decree today that every doubt in me concerning the matter of prayer disappears. I choose to pray in faith at all times in the name of Jesus. Amen!
