One of the best things that can happen to you in Christ Jesus is when you begin to take the instructions coming from the pulpit seriously. The reason is that when you do, the benefits can position your life for greatness and bring you healing in many different ways. Naaman got his healing because he was smart enough to follow the instructions of the man of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ was able to turn dirty water into sweet wine because His disciples followed His instructions. Now, imagine if Naaman had not followed the instructions; his health challenge would have remained the same. But he was a man who was always willing to follow counsel. First, it was his servant girl that advised him, then his servants, and then the man of God. He was willing to follow instructions, and it brought him restoration in his health.
Imagine if the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ had not followed His instructions; that miracle of turning water into wine wouldn’t have taken place. Now, these kinds of miracles and more can be your portion if only you learn to follow the instructions given to us by God in His Word and also follow the instructions coming from the pulpit by God’s servants. If you start giving value to spiritual instructions and following them, your life will not remain the same. The quality of your life will be greatly improved, and your testimonies will multiply. So begin today to cultivate the habit of taking these instructions seriously and following them to the letter. It will help your life a great deal. Praise God!
