Each one, as a good manager of God’s different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God. —1 Peter 4:10 (GNT)

Having established the importance of aspiring to do more for Jesus, you must understand that this is a reality you need to wake up to. In Christ, you have been endowed with several gifts that are meant to benefit the entire body.

The Bible says:

We are one body in union with Christ, and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body. So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God’s message, we should do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously; whoever has authority should work hard; whoever shows kindness to others should do it cheerfully. —Romans 12:5-8 (GNT)

The gifts you have received must be used to advance the body of Christ. Sadly, many believers only want to receive from God without being willing to give back. This should not be your story. Make a conscious decision to do more with the spiritual gifts and material resources He has entrusted to you.

Become the man or woman who is willing to be among those laboring to see the Gospel spread and souls won. The Master said the harvest is ripe but the laborers are few —Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV). Consider becoming part of the few who desire to use their lives and privileges to follow God’s call. Aspire to become more for Him and never forget that God has a place for you in His work.
