Beloved do you want to always get massive results every time you go to God in prayers? Do you want to Influence the affairs of your life positively and change the outcome of your situations? Well, it is simple! All that is required of you, is to approach God with praise and thanksgiving. Praise and thanksgiving creates an atmosphere that gets the attention of God.
Over the years, this is how men of old like our Lord Jesus Christ, King David and others approached God and they were able to change situations and subdue kingdoms. They understood the power of thanksgiving and praise and it worked for them like never before. On one occasion, the Bible recorded how the multitude had been with Jesus for about three days and they were hungry.
So Jesus asked the disciples to get them something to eat. At first they didn’t know how to go about that because the people were plenty. However, after much deliberation, they got a little boys launch. Five loaves of bread and two fishes. For them, that wasn’t going to fix the reality on ground, but for our Lord Jesus Christ, that was more than enough. And the Bible said “….Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted…”John 6:11 (NKJV). Did you see that? The moment He gave thanks and they began to distribute the food, it increased. That is what thanksgiving can do. When you add praise to it, your prayers become very powerful. But sadly, many of God’s people do not practice this today. Instead they go to God to complain and blame God for all their predicament and this explains the reason why too many of God’s people are feeling defeated. Beloved, if you are going to enjoy the help of God and not feel defeated, quit complaining and always approach God with praise and thanksgiving. You will be amazed at how things will change drastically for your good.

Confession for the Day
My Lord and my God, I am grateful because today I have received wisdom. Henceforth , I will always approach your throne of grace with praise and thanksgiving and as I do this, I unlock in my life the blessing of praise and thanksgiving in Jesus name. Amen!
