“…the just shall live by faith…” Romans 1:17 (NKJV)

As we journey in our Christian walk, a major attitude we must maintain in all situations is an attitude of faith. Because it goes a long way to determine what the outcome of the situation will be like. Whether we are going to come out victoriously or be defeated in any matter is completely dependent on the attitude that we maintain. Therefore, in all you do, make a conscious decision to maintain an attitude of faith. Refuse to cower in the face of adversity or be scared of your adversary. Confront all situations with confidence knowing that God is for you.

A perfect example of people who maintained an attitude of faith, was Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego who faced a life threatening situation but stood their ground. A decree had been given in the town for everyone to bow to the image that was set up by King Nebuchadnezzar and worship it, but they refused to bow. When the King approached them to let them know the detriment of the decision they had made, they replied to the King and said” O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from your hand, O king. But let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods; nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Did you see that? They bluntly refused to yield to the King’s threat even though they knew it was going to cost them their lives.

Somehow they were confident of the God whom they serve and that led them to speak with boldness. Their lives were threatened, their beliefs were questioned, but they maintained an attitude of faith which invariably brought them victory and today we are talking about it. The question is, what will be your own story? You might be faced with a certain situation that is threatening your life, your beliefs, your job or your marriage but you must remember, that no matter what you face, an attitude of faith is the key to coming out of that issue victoriously. So I encourage you to maintain an attitude of faith all the time. Be bold and confident at all times, knowing very well that no matter what happens, you will emerge a victor in the long run. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

In times of difficulties, your attitude determines your victory, therefore maintain an attitude of faith and victory will be sure!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Faith is at work in me, therefore I refuse to cower in the face of adversity or stagger at the promises of God, for I know who I am, whose I am and what I have got. No matter what I face or go through, I am walking in victory in the name of Jesus. Amen!
