“The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17 (NKJV)
As a Christian, if you want your testimonies to reflect triumph, you must learn not only to live by faith but also to take steps of faith—actions that bring your beliefs into reality. Faith that remains unpracticed will never yield results. It is faith in motion, faith expressed through action, that produces the outcomes you desire.
For example, if you need a job and all you do is pray and speak about it without submitting applications, nothing will change. You’ll wait indefinitely. After praying, take a practical step—send out your resume, network, and pursue opportunities. Speaking your faith into existence needs to be accompanied by corresponding action. As the Bible says, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” — James 2:17 (NKJV).
Consider the areas where you are trusting God for breakthrough. Have you paired your prayers with purposeful actions? If not, now is the time to start. In my experience, I’ve seen people with genuine faith who failed to act and eventually became discouraged. But you can choose to be different. When you add action to your faith—maintaining positive confessions, casting out fear, and making strategic moves toward your goals—you position yourself for supernatural results.
Whatever you are believing God to do, remember: your faith becomes powerful when it’s activated by obedient steps. So step out in faith today, and watch your life move from glory to glory!
