“…I will tell of your goodness; all day long I will speak of your salvation, though it is more than I can understand…”Psalm 71:15 (GNT)

One of the things you must make up your mind to do as a believer is to consistently give testimonies of the beautiful things God has done for you. The reason it’s important is because when you testify of the goodness of God, you bring glory to God.

Sadly, many believers are no longer in the habit of giving testimonies often. They treat the things God does for them as one of those things, which ought not to be so. When you are a believer who does not testify, you are indirectly saying you do not place value on the things God has done for you. When you live like this, it is an indication that you are not a grateful person. I know that this might sound harsh, but that is how it is . A grateful person will always talk of the good things God did for them no matter how small. They will always want to describe and narrate how God delivered them from that trouble that would have destroyed their lives.

So, to avoid being ungrateful, it is important that you make a conscious decision to always testify. God wants to receive the glory from all the things He does for you.  Anything you could not do for yourself that was done miraculously for you, should be testified about. The Psalmist said, “…I will tell of your goodness; all day long I will speak of your salvation, though it is more than I can understand….”Psalm 71:15 (GNT). Be like the Psalmist, who chose to tell of the goodness of God and guess what? When you testify of the goodness of the Lord in your life, you will experience more of His goodness and favour in your life. Praise God!

CONFESSION FOR YOU

Glorious and Ever-living Father, I am grateful for all you have done in my life. I thank you for divine health, provision, protection and preservation. I do not take it for granted and no matter the odds, I will always testify about it in Jesus’ name. Amen!
