“…Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed: “Remember, Lord, that I have served you faithfully and loyally and that I have always tried to do what you wanted me to.” And he began to cry bitterly….”2 Kings 20:2-3 (GNT)
Most times when we go through challenges in life, we are tempted to want to approach it from men’s point of view. We oft time think that the battle we are facing is in the flesh but that is not true. Thinking that your battle is in the flesh, is the reason why too many of God’s people today have lost a lot of battles. They were fighting the flesh instead of handling the issue spiritually.
Beloved, if you want to win the battles of life, if you want to get that job or contract, if you want to be able to put a stop to those nightmares you are always having or the health issue that has refused to go, you must learn to approach it spiritually because that is where the real battle is. The physical realm is just the realm of manifestation, the real thing is right in the realm of the spirit and if you choose this day to start fighting your battles from there, you will always win.
King Hezekiah knew this truth and so when the messenger of God brought the news that he was going to die, he didn’t bother himself with the messenger. He immediately approached the matter spiritually through prayers and the matter was sorted. The sickness was reversed and additional years were granted to him. Beloved, you too can reverse the current realities in your life that you do not like. All you need to do is approach that matter spiritually and you will get the victory. Remember, the Bible says “….we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere….”Ephesians 6:12 (AMPC). Therefore, be guided as you journey in your Christian walk.
TODAY’S RHEMA
The real battle we are fighting is not in the physical but in the realm of the Spirit, therefore approach life from there!
