The hardworking farmer must be the first to partake of the crops. —2 Timothy 2:6 (NKJV)
In the first part of this article, we explored the truth that we are the first to experience the consequences of our actions. Every action we take is a seed, whether good or bad. These seeds grow over time, and wherever there is growth, a harvest is inevitable. The Bible illustrates this principle of growth in the book of Acts.
So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed. —Acts 19:20 (NKJV)
The Word of the Lord prevailed because it was a seed that grew mightily within the city. Whatever field you find yourself in today, remember that your contributions and actions are seeds. These seeds can grow into a promotion in your office, increased profits in your business, or success in your personal endeavors. A hardworking farmer is always the first to enjoy the results of his labor.
You must take your actions seriously and be proactive about your future. Whether you are serving in the church or working in your career, make a conscious decision to sow the right seeds. Once you’ve sown them, wait patiently for your harvest because it will surely come. Do what’s necessary today by planting seeds of righteousness and excellence.
Remember, we aren’t just talking about financial seeds, but the seeds of your daily actions. When these are planted, they grow into either a positive or a negative harvest depending on the nature of the seed. Your life today is a reflection of the seeds you planted yesterday. Choose to plant well so you can reap a glorious future. Hallelujah!
Today’s Rhema
Everything we do is a seed, whether good or bad; therefore, sow the right seeds so that you can expect the right harvest!
Prayer
Father, I thank You for the opportunity to sow righteous seeds through my actions and my words. I thank You because my harvest is great as it comes. You’ve counted me worthy not just to be a partaker of the harvest, but to be the first to reap it. Thank You, Lord! Amen.
