“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” —Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

Previously, we established that as believers, we each have a ministry to fulfil in Christ Jesus. Now, someone might ask: How do I go about fulfilling my ministry in Christ Jesus? What should I do to make it a reality? The answer is simple.

First, you must believe it. Many believers struggle with this truth. They know they have a ministry in Christ, but they resist it, preferring to chase other dreams instead of God’s. But that is not how it’s supposed to be. You must believe that you have a ministry and align your life with it.

Second, become conscious of it daily. As you go out, carry evangelistic materials that can help you share the message of Jesus. Leave your house prepared to point someone to Christ. Don’t wait until your pastor declares an evangelism day before you witness to others. Let every day of your life become an evangelism day. Pray before stepping out that God will connect you with people whose hearts are ready to receive the gospel. When opportunities come, seize them to share Jesus with someone.

Also, make a deliberate commitment to support the spread of the gospel financially. Don’t wait until a special altar call is made before you give. Remember, God provides resources so that you can partner with Him in sending the gospel to the ends of the earth. The gospel itself is free, but its spread costs something.

So, what are you waiting for? Activate your personal ministry today and let someone experience the love of God through you. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Let someone receive salvation and come to an in-depth knowledge of Christ Jesus because of you!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for entrusting me with the ministry of reconciliation. I do not take this for granted. Henceforth, I will walk conscious of this reality and prepare myself to be a witness to the finished works of our Lord Christ. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
