“But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak” 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NKJV)
Very often, people around you may try to discredit your faith and make it seem as though you are wasting your time. They may mock your commitment to God, look down on you, and act as though you are not qualified to proclaim the truths of Scripture. The devil also seizes these moments to whisper lies especially when you don’t see the results you expect or when confronted with difficult situations.
But beloved, regardless of what others say or the challenges you face, you must remember this: you have been approved by God, and no one else’s opinion matters.
I know there are people who enjoy attacking Christians and belittling their devotion to God. Some friends may even mock you for taking a firm stand in your walk with the Lord. But against all odds, don’t let these things move you. Whatever others think about your Christianity is insignificant compared to what God says about you.
Always keep in mind that you are approved by God. Not only has He approved you, but He has also entrusted you with the gospel that saves. It doesn’t get any greater than this! So, see yourself differently. Be confident in your relationship with God, because in Him you are approved, justified, and glorified (Romans 8:30). Don’t let anyone take this truth away from you—it’s your identity in Christ Jesus. Praise God!

Confession for the Day
I am approved by God, sanctified, justified, and glorified. I refuse to pay attention to any voice except God’s. His opinion about me is all that matters. Praise God!
