“And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being.’ The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:45 NKJV)
Now that we’ve established from the first article that we carry the life-giving nature of Christ, it’s time to wake up to this reality and align ourselves with it. Often, when people hear such truths, they struggle to accept them because their experiences don’t seem to match. But this doesn’t make the truth any less valid. Embrace this truth in faith and refuse to let death operate in your life, because you are a life-giving spirit.
Death, in this context, doesn’t just mean physical death—it also refers to situations where things aren’t working as they should. When you notice areas of stagnation or dysfunction in your life, dispense life into them because you carry that life within you. If the enemy tries to attack your health or bring symptoms into your body, reject it vehemently and release life. You might ask, “How do I do this?” It’s simple: through your words. Speak life into your body by declaring, “In the name of Jesus, I release life into my body!” That’s all it takes.
When Jesus walked the earth, He demonstrated this power. When His friend Lazarus died, Jesus went to the tomb and didn’t even touch him. He simply called out, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43). At His command, the spirit of death had to flee, and Lazarus came back to life. In the same way, when you speak to dead situations or areas of your life that aren’t functioning, life will come forth because you are a life-giver.
I challenge you to take hold of this truth. If you live conscious of your identity as a life-giver, nothing in your life will be permitted to die or deteriorate. Life flows through you, and it will transform every area of your existence. Hallelujah!
