“…you did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain…” —John 15:16 (NKJV)

The devil will always try to make you believe that you are nothing and can never amount to anything. He would like to make you believe that we can never reach certain heights in life and will never be able to fulfill God’s plan for your life.
But as a child of God, you must learn to counter his evil thoughts with the truth revealed to us in God’s word because that is the only way we can drown the lies of the devil. Years ago, I read of a young man who got so discouraged in life and decided to commit suicide but before he did that, he dropped a note that read, “I am nothing. Even trash is worth more because it can aleast be recycled.” After writing this down, he ended his life. If only he had known what God had said about him, maybe he wouldn’t have felt that way.

Beloved, you must understand that it is not what the devil says but what God says about you that matters. Even if you don’t feel good about yourself, you must learn to hold on to what God has said because this is the truth and nothing less. You must understand that you did not come to this world to waste away. God brought you here with a plan in mind, and it is your responsibility to seek God to reveal that plan. He has chosen you and ordained you to produce results in your life. You are not a mistake, you did not just appear on the scene; you are God’s plan and God’s plan does not fail.

Therefore, make a conscious decision today not to allow the thoughts of the devil into your mind. You are a chosen vessel who has been ordained to be fruitful in life and be a blessing to his world. Be conscious of this truth and stop thinking the devil’s thoughts and start thinking God’s thoughts. “…you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you make proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…” 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

Today’s Rhema

You are God’s plan and God’s plan does not fail!

Confession for the Day

Dear heavenly father I thank you for choosing me and appointing me for fruitfulness, I do not take this for granted, therefore I declare that I live every day of my life in this consciousness, and in all that I do, I am making progress and producing results in all areas in the name of Jesus. Amen!
