“…likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble…” 1 Peter 5:5 (NKJV)

Do you want to discover your purpose in Christ? Do you want to be relevant to the kingdom of God and discover your potential? You must be ready to yield yourself to spiritual authority so you can be raised and groomed in the Word. Without training, there is no reigning. If you want to reign in life as a Christian, you must take this article seriously because the key to reigning in life is training and the key to being trained is humility. Without humility, it is impossible to be trained.

Training is a process that requires humility. It is not for the proud or the haughty, it is meant for those who are willing to put away ego and yield themselves to training. Sadly, that is lacking a great deal today. Many people don’t want to humble themselves and submit to spiritual authority. They feel they even know more than the pastor and in the end, you see them walking in error because they are not humble enough to yield themselves to training. Beloved that has to change, the key to discovering who you are in Christ Jesus is humility and training. Humble yourself so that your potential can be harnessed.

Today’s Rhema

The key to an upward and forward Christian life is humility!

Confession for the Day

The Spirit of excellence is at work in me, therefore I choose to be humble and submissive. I yield myself to spiritual authority and spiritual training. I refuse to act rebellious in any way and by the power of the Holy Ghost, I make progress through the power of humility in the name of Jesus. Amen!
