“Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.” — Proverbs 12:11 (ESV)

Beloved, as the year is still fresh, one of the most important things you must do is work towards your dreams. In other words, put in the effort required to make them a reality because dreams don’t accomplish themselves. One of the biggest mistakes people make is thinking their dreams will manifest on their own over time. This mindset has kept many people unfulfilled for years, leaving them wondering why their lives aren’t progressing. Some even go so far as to blame God for their situation, but is God truly responsible for their predicament? The answer is a resounding no!

If you truly want to see your dreams materialize this year, you must make a conscious decision to take action. You need to be willing to invest time, energy, and effort to see your dreams come to pass. Dreams don’t develop hands and legs to work on their own; it is up to you to take the initiative. The journey won’t always be smooth, but if you endure and stay committed, you will see the fruits of your labor.

As you move forward this year, remember the wisdom in today’s scripture: “Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.” — Proverbs 12:11 (ESV). Your dream is like a field that requires cultivation. If you nurture it, it will yield a rich harvest. However, neglecting it will only invite unwanted and unpleasant circumstances. So, take the necessary steps and put in the effort to make your dreams a reality.
