“…‭‭but without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him…” Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

In your walk with God, one thing is to believe and acknowledge that God exists but another thing is to consistently have faith in His word and power. Doing this pleases God to no end. Let me explain. Over the years in my walk with God and studying the Bible, I discovered that God is not just looking for men and women who would just acknowledge that He is God; He wants men who would have faith in His word and power. He wants men who will demonstrate their faith in Him through their actions. He wants men who, in the face of adversity, are still able to maintain their calm and positivity because they know that they have God and He will not fail them. Unfortunately, these kinds of men today are scarce.

People only want to demonstrate their faith in God when the going is good but when tough times kick in and their options are slim, they just give up on their faith and start walking and talking fear, which ought not to be so. So, as you journey with God, make a conscious decision to always operate with faith in good and bad times. Refuse to allow situations to determine your faith in God. Instead, use your faith in God’s word to influence your situation. This is the kind of life God wants us to live and this is the kind of life that pleases God. In our opening text, the Bible says “…‭‭but without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him….” Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV). Hallelujah!
