Walk in Love and the Law Is Fulfilled (1)

“…all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself…” –Galatians 5:14 (NKJV) 

Beloved, do you know that when you walk in love, you fulfill the law? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. Many in the past have said that the ten Commandments no longer exist because our Lord Jesus Christ has paid the price for us. But the truth is that that is not correct. The fact that our Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for us does not mean the Ten Commandments are abolished. They still do exist but not as ten but in one word. Sounds shocking right? Well, the Bible says in our opening text that “…all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “you shall love your neighbor as yourself…” –Galatians 5:14 (NKJV). If you love your neighbor, you will not steal from him. If you love your neighbour, you will not commit murder or be covetous.

So, make a conscious decision to work on  increasing your love level or love walk. Your love towards your neighbor should improve now because, if you can work on this, you will walk in the path that God wants you to walk in as a Christian and you will excel in all things. It was this desire and understanding that made Paul the Apostle prayed to pray for the Phillipian church brethren saying “…I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ…”Philipians 1:19 (NKJV). Did you see that? So, be encouraged to become conscious of your love walk. Be deliberate about it and you will be amazed how it will change your relationship with people and put you in favor with men. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day 

Wisdom and understanding is at work in me, therefore the grace to improve in my love walk is at work in me and I decree that as I deliberately operate in love, everything about me is changing and I am moving from glory to glory in the name of Jesus Amen!
