“…As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God….” I Peter 4:10 (NKJV)

As believers in Christ, we’ve been called to serve God with our gifts. Sadly, today, many do not even know that they have gifts, so their focus is on other things; and even when they discover their gifts, they do not think in the direction of using that gift in service to God.

You must understand that as a believer, you have received a gift from God and the reason that gift was given to you, was so that you can use it to serve God and bless others. In our opening scripture, the Bible says “…….as each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God….” I Peter 4:10 (NKJV). Did you see that? This particular verse of the scripture encourages us to use the gift.

Therefore, you have a responsibility to give attention to the gifts that God has given to you. If you haven’t discovered it, ask God “…who gives to all liberally and without reproach…” James 1:5 (NKJV) and He will minister to you and reveal it. When you pray for that, believe it because your prayers will certainly be answered and when you now discover the gift, harness it (improve it) and use it to bless the body of Christ. Stop allowing your gift to waste away. I have seen so many of God’s people who are just allowing their gift to waste away and by doing that, they deprive God’s people of the blessings they are supposed to get from their gift, which shouldn’t be. So, whatever be the case, I want you to understand that you have a gift and that gift is to be used to honor God and bless his people. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

When you do not use your gift for God and for His people, you deprive God’s people of the blessings God has ordained for them!

Confession for the Day

Glorious and everliving Father, I thank you for this wonderful counsel. My eyes are opened to those gifts you have given to me and I pledge to make use of my gift squarely in the name of Jesus. Amen!
