“…Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish… but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps…” – Matthew 25:2, 4 (NKJV)
In the first part of the article, we saw how the five foolish virgins missed the bridegroom they had waited for all night because they were not prepared for his arrival even though they were there. When they came from where they went to get oil for their lamps, the bridegroom had already come and the doors were shut. Today, there are still so many of God’s people going through situations like this. In fact, there are many today who are in so much distress because they were not prepared for tomorrow. So tomorrow they meet unprepared. However, the time has come for you as a child of God to understand that if you don’t want to struggle in life or be disadvantaged in life, you must learn to prepare for tomorrow today. I have carefully watched the lives of many people and I discovered that too many are throwing away today and as a result of that, they do not have tomorrow. They squander today living a careless and carefree life without having any plan for tomorrow.
So when tomorrow finally comes, they are pained and bitter as though God is not helping them but in the real sense, they are the ones who did not prepare themselves for what is to come. Therefore, I admonish you to carefully meditate on this thing that I am sharing with you. Prepare for tomorrow today, sow the right seeds, think ahead, plan ahead, and have a plan for tomorrow. You will do well to invest today wisely so that you can reap tomorrow joyfully. And this does not only apply to the things of this life but also to eternal matters. You must remember that there is life after this earth. If you are going to have a peaceful eternal existence after you leave this earth, then you must embrace God’s prescription for it, which is accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. He is the gateway to a peaceful eternal rest for it is written, “…whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…” (John 3:16 NKJV) So get busy and begin to prepare not just for tomorrow but also for eternity because it is real. God bless you!

Your word oh God declares that wisdom is profitable to direct, therefore I declare that with this wisdom that has come to me today, I will live every day of my life preparing for tomorrow and I know that as I do this, I will reap the fruits of it in Jesus Name. Amen!
