“…whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospels will save it…” —Mark 8:35  (NKJV)

Beloved, do you want to have a meaningful life with peace and prosperity? Do you desire to have a wonderful and admirable life with both earthly and eternal security? Well, you must consider denying yourself to follow Christ who is the heir of this world, the author and the finisher of our faith and the door to God the father (John 14:6). Although, this is might sound a little off to the religious minds but the fact remains that it is the truth. As far as this life is concerned, everything is vanity upon vanity. All that we pursue and take risks for ends up in vanity, the only thing that counts is Jesus Christ. He is the greatest gain any man can have in this world, and the reason is because, Jesus Christ is the guarantee of a life of value here on earth and also in the life after this life.

He is the true life insurance that every man needs to subscribe to and if you choose to follow Him and allow Him lead you, He will add value to your life and make it a worthwhile. Therefore, if you truly want to know who you really are, and step into the destiny God has ordained for you in Christ Jesus, you have to abandon yourself to God and the best way to do that, is to accept the finish work of our Lord Jesus Christ and receive Jesus Christ into your life. When you do, you will loose your old life and receive the new life that our Lord Jesus Christ has to offer and this life is the life of God- the eternal life. For it is written, “…God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…”John 3:16 (NKJV). So receive Him into your life and abide in Him (John 15:4) and your true identity will emerge. The you in you will rise and fulfil the purpose of God. Praise God!
