“…‭‭Intelligent people think before they speak; what they say is then more persuasive…”Proverbs‬ ‭16:23‬ ‭(GNT‬‬)

Beloved, before you say anything, do you think about it first? Do you take sometime to ponder on the things you want to say before you say them? Well, incase you do not think before you speak, I want you to know that it is a very dangerous thing to speak before you think. Over the years, many of God’s people have made the mistake of speaking without thinking and this has brought them a long of trouble. They spoke without considering the consequences that would follow and today they are in a lot of issues because they did not think before speaking.

Beloved, as you walk with God, you must understand that it is wrong to speak without thinking. God wants you to learn how to think before speaking. Why? Because it will save you from so many troubles and not only so, it will make your words more impactful. The Bible says “…‭‭

Intelligent people think before they speak; what they say is then more persuasive…”Proverbs‬ ‭16:23‬ ‭(GNT‬‬) Did you see that? This lets us know that thinking before speaking will not only save us from trouble, it will make our words more persuasive and impactful.

So, I encourage you today, to always think before speaking and the best way to achieve this is not to be in a hurry to speak. No matter the issue on ground, don’t ever be in a rush to speak or contribute. When you begin to do this, the Holy Spirit will start guiding your words and everytime you speak, your words will be a blessing to those who hear you speak. Praise God!
