Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it. —Hebrews 4:16 (GNT)
For everything you want to achieve in life, you need grace. If you want to get married, you need grace. If you want a job or a promotion, you need grace. If you desire the fruit of the womb or the peace of a settled home, you need grace. Whatever new height you seek, grace is the enabling presence that makes it possible.
There is a simple secret to obtaining that grace: approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, faith, and persistence. Too many people run from pillar to post looking for help from places that cannot give lasting help. The throne of men can provide temporary solutions, but what endures and changes destinies comes from God’s throne. Make it your first resort, not your last.
Beloved, the Bible calls us to come boldly to the throne of grace so we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. That means prayer with expectation, steady fellowship with God, and a refusal to settle for second-hand answers. When your habit is to seek God first—through prayer, Scripture, and dependence—His mercy meets you at the precise point of need.
So be deliberate. Set aside time to approach the throne daily and qualitatively. Make prayer your primary response, not a fallback after other attempts fail. As you build that habit of drawing near, you will find mercy when you need it and grace that fits your moment. Praise God!
