Jesus talking to a Samaritan woman at the well, offering her living water. The watercolor uses earthy browns, soft blues, and gentle whites to evoke acceptance, grace, and divine revelation.

“The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, ‘Come, see a man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?’ Then they went out of the city and came to Him.” — John 4:28–30 (NKJV)

Child of God, have you ever wondered how you can share the Gospel with others without it seeming like you’re forcing your faith on them? Or do you find it difficult to speak about Jesus when you know you’re supposed to? If so, I have good news for you. It can be done—naturally and powerfully—without pressure or coercion. The secret lies in simply sharing your personal testimonies of what Jesus has done in your life and how far He has brought you.

This might sound too simple, but never underestimate the power of your testimony. It can stir up faith, hope, and curiosity in those who hear it.

Think about the woman at the well. After her encounter with Jesus, who revealed the secrets of her heart, she couldn’t keep the experience to herself. The Bible says: “The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, ‘Come, see a man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?’ Then they went out of the city and came to Him.” (John 4:28–30 NKJV).

Did you catch that? She didn’t preach a sermon or argue theology—she simply shared what Jesus had done for her.

The story continues: “Many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, ‘He told me all that I ever did.’ So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word.” (John 4:39–41 NKJV)

Look at the impact her testimony had! One woman’s story opened the door for an entire city to encounter Jesus. She didn’t try to convert anyone—she just shared what she experienced, and God did the rest.

So, I encourage you today: don’t stress about trying to convince people. Don’t force your faith on anyone. Just tell your story. Let your testimony shine, and it will do what God intends.

Confession for the Day

Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to the power of my testimonies. I receive the grace and boldness to easily share my testimonies with others, and as I do, they shall change and transform lives, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
