“….while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal….” II Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV)

Sometimes when God’s people look at the situation or circumstances that they have found themselves in, it always looks as though it will never come to an end or its permanent but the question is, is that really true?  Well, the answer is a big No. Every circumstance you have found yourself is subject to change. They may look complicated, they may look tough but the truth is that they are temporary. Now, if you understand this, you will not allow situations to break you or drive you nuts because truly they are not permanent but temporary.

So as you journey in your walk with God, do not treat situations as though they are permanent because they are not. They are only temporary and that’s why the Bible says in our opening text, “….we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal….” II Corinthians 4:18 (NKJV)

The question now is, do you believe this? Do you truly believe that the things that are seen are temporary?? Well, you should believe it because that is what the Bible says. It is true that the situations surrounding you may look real, it doesn’t make it permanent and it means they are subject to change. So, see yourself coming out of that situation you have found yourself because truly, they are temporary. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Your situations may look tough and real but it doesn’t not mean it is permanent!

Confession for the Day

Glorious and ever living Father, I thank you for your word today. I refuse to accept the situations around me as a permanent one because they are not. They are temporary and as such they must change or come to an end in the name of Jesus. Amen!
