“…a prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up…”James 5:15 ( NKJV)
Having established the power of the prayer of faith in the first part of this article, it is important to understand that, if ever you want to get results in prayer, it has to be done in faith. Sometimes, when people don’t get the desired results in prayer, they think the problem is with God but that is not true.
God has no issue in answering your prayers. As a matter of fact the Bible says”…Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning…”James 1:16-17 (NKJV). From this, you discover that God is willing but the question is do you have enough faith to receive from God? Do you trust God enough to answer your prayer? Well, you should because it can be a game changer for you.
The Bible says “…If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways…”James 1:5-8 (NKJV). Did you see that? The next time you want to pray regarding matters of concerned, mix it with faith and do not doubt and you will see the performance of God’s power in your life. Praise God!
