“…a prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up…” James 5:15 (NKJV)

After many years of pastoring, one of the things I have discovered about many people is that they pray often but not in faith. So, when they are done praying, they are really not expecting that they will get results because, from the beginning, their prayer was not done in faith.

Unfortunately, this has become the norm for lots of people, and this kind of attitude in prayer, is the reason why many today have come to the conclusion that prayer does not work, yet prayer remains the number one key that you can use to transform your life and change any situation. I know that this may sound ridiculous to some people, but trust me, it is the truth.

God, in His infinite mercy, wants to help His children. He wants to reach out to us and bring us out of difficult circumstances, but you see, He will not do it without your invitation. Until and unless men pray, God can’t do anything on earth. The earth is man’s domain; God already gave man dominion in this world ( Genesis 1:26) and if God is going to intervene, He needs authorization from man, and that is where prayer comes into play. And this prayer has to be a prayer of faith, knowing very well that when we pray in faith, God is able to move in our situation and cause a solution to manifest. In the book of James, the Bible says, “…a prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up…” James 5:15 (NKJV) Did you see that? So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and pray a prayer of faith regarding that matter of concern, and it will be sorted. Hallelujah!
